Antonito Colorado Tourism

Conejos River Canyon, Pla-toro Dam, seven State Wildlife Areas, San Juan Wilderness Area, and the Rio Grande National Forest all offer great recreation for the whole family.

There is fishing, hunting, camping, backpacking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and lodging. Small museums including the Jack Dempsey Museum and Pike’s Stockade are open seasonally. Many festivals are held throughout the year including the historic Manassa Pioneer Days and Rodeo. Check the Calendar of Events section. Antonito is unique in the number of murals it boasts, in town and in the Mission Churches. There are also gift shops, lodging, gas stations, a grocery store and restaurants.
