Granby Colorado Tourism

Granby Colorado pdf download

Established in 1905, Granby was once nicknamed the “Dude Ranch Capital of Colorado.”

Friendly residents and serene scenery are the lure of Granby. For some, summertime means rafting the Colorado River, boating and fishing in nearby streams or Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Reservoir, Grand Lake or Willow Creek Reservoir.

For others, summer means taking advantage of the numerous stables and dude ranches, playing the four nearby golf courses or exploring the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, Arapaho National Forest or Indian Peaks Wilderness Area by foot, bike, jeep or llama. Winter warrants a trip to Sol Vista Resort for downhill and cross-country skiing topped-off with a relaxing, romantic sleigh ride.
