Mancos Colorado Tourism

Mancos is a quiet town nestled in a beautiful valley between the La Plata Mountains and Mesa Verde National Park.

Recreational opportunities abound in the San Juan National Forest, just outside of town, and at Jackson Gulch Lake in the Mancos State Recreation Area. Mancos offers stream and lake fishing, hiking, biking, horseback and stagecoach rides, winter cross-country skiing, and other wilderness sports, six miles to Mesa Verde National Park. It is also the place to visit if you just want to kick back and relax.
