Redstone Colorado Tourism

The National Historic District of Redstone, known as the “Ruby of the Rockies,” lies along the Crystal River in the shadow of the Elk Mountain Range. Founded as a vast coal mining operation, today, Redstone is a peaceful community bursting with historic charm.

Attractions and activities include horseback riding / outdoor meals, and mountain bike rentals. Further up the Crystal River Valley lies the historic town of Marble, where the world’s finest, pure white marble (including that used to make the Lincoln Memorial) is still quarried.
