Activities include camping, fishing, backpacking, hiking, hunting, river running (both flatwater and white water), power boating, water-skiing, sightseeing, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and many others.
Moffat County’s friendly and helpful people are always glad to share western hospitality as you explore Northwest Colorado, the “Grande Olde West”. The city and county provide developed parks and recreation areas at Loudy Simpson Park and Elkhead Reservoir.
Facilities include a wave pool, tennis courts, hiking and bike trails, as well as picnic areas, swimming beaches, camping, boat ramps for power boating and water-skiing. |
